Prof. Manuel Oriol takes the helm as President of Constructor Institute of Technology Schaffhausen

We are proud to announce the appointment of Prof. Manuel Oriol as the President of Constructor Institute of Technology Schaffhausen. With an impressive background that includes a Ph.D. in Dynamic Software Updates from the University of Geneva, an Engineer Diploma in Computer Science, and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from ENSEEIHT School in Toulouse, Manuel brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.

Having joined Constructor Institute of Technology as an associate professor of software engineering in September 2022, Manuel has already bridged the gap between academic research and practical product development experience.

As President, Manuel will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Constructor Institute of Technology Schaffhausen. Reporting directly to Stanislav Protasov, President and Chairman of the Executive Board of Constructor University, Manuel will lead strategic direction, budget management, and efficient internal processes. Additionally, he will foster relationships with industry partners and local governments, and ensure the Institute meets accreditation requirements.

In his capacity as President, Manuel will also fulfill the duties of a regular professor of software engineering. His direct reports will include the Provost of Constructor Institute of Technology, Professors from the institute, and the Head of Administration Services.
