Exploring Swiss Democracy: Reto Weber’s Insightful Talk on Direct Democracy at SWIT Series

We were thrilled to host another insightful session as part of our SWIT series on Wednesday, March 19th. This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Reto Weber, who delivered a fascinating talk on "Switzerland’s Political System: Understanding Direct Democracy".

Reto shared his unique perspective as an active local politician and a Swiss citizen who has participated in numerous public votes.

The session shed light on how Swiss citizens influence decision-making through popular initiatives, making Switzerland's political system stand out from others around the world.

Attendees enjoyed the brown bag lunch at our Schaffhausen office and had the opportunity to participate both in person and remotely.
