Constructor Institute of Technology ScholarshipsConstructor Institute of Technology is proud to offer a range of merit-based scholarships for the Fall 2025 intake. These scholarships are designed to support academically outstanding applicants from disciplines such as Computer Science, Software Engineering and Quantum Technologies. We are looking for bachelor graduates from Mathematics, Physics, and related STEM fields who have solid programming skills and a passion for coding.
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must:
- Submit a complete application with all required documentation through the online admissions portal,
- Pass a technical admissions interview (on topics similar to those from our pre-Master program), conducted by a faculty member (interviews are conducted after the application and are by invitation-only),
- Demonstrate strong academic performance in their prior bachelor’s degree,
- Demonstrate outstanding records of academic and programming achievements, STEM related awards and competitions,
- Exhibit high potential and excellence during the admissions technical interview.
* Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, motivation and demonstrated potential in the interview. These may be in the form of full or partial tuition waivers, as mentioned below. To ensure broader access to funding opportunities for more individuals, multiple award categories cannot be combined.

Thanks to a C>IT's donor program, several full tuition waivers and partial tuition scholarships are available for the 2025–2026 academic year. Awards listed on this page are applicable toward tuition for the 2-year MSc programs that begins in Fall 2025 (CHF 30,000 per year).
Awards are made renewable for the second year of the MSc, contingent on the student maintaining a solid academic performance (equivalent to an average of “B” (5/6 in the Swiss grading system) or better.
These awards are strictly academic and do not include a stipend. Students are responsible for covering their living and personal expenses while studying in Switzerland.
Аll applicants must be able to demonstrate financial resources to cover tuition (or remaining tuition, if granted any CIT awards) plus living expenses for the year in Switzerland (CHF 22,000 per year for non-EU students, as per Swiss consular visa requirements).
Below are specific categories of awards that are available for the Fall 2025 intake. These descriptions below are non-binding and specific, detailed terms and conditions will be shared with recipients at the time of the individual offer.
The scholarship committee reserves the right to revise its portfolio of offers based on available funding.
As a Swiss–based institution at the heart of Europe, Constructor Institute of Technology offers dedicated merit-based scholarships for outstanding Swiss and EU students. These scholarships do not cover living expenses.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Direct admission to the MSc program (pre-master's not required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a STEM-related discipline.
- Strong coding/programming background.
- Outstanding academic record with proof of excellence.
- Evidence of awards, competitions, or other achievements in relevant fields.
Available for all MSc programs.
Dedicated to fostering cross-cultural collaboration, these scholarships support top talent from non-EU European regions.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Direct admission to the MSc program (pre-master's not required).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics, or a STEM-related discipline.
- Strong coding/programming background.
- Outstanding academic record with proof of excellence.
- Evidence of awards, competitions, or other achievements in relevant fields.
Scholarship Options:
- Full-Tuition Scholarship – CHF 30,000 per year (highly competitive).
- Partial-Tuition Scholarship – Up to CHF 20,000 per year.
Constructor Institute of Technology (C>IT) is committed to supporting excellence among women in Information Technology and Engineering.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Direct admission to the MSc program (or completion of Pre-Master Block B, if required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quantum Technologies, Mathematics, Physics, or a STEM-related discipline.
- Strong coding/programming background.
- Outstanding academic record with proof of excellence.
- Evidence of awards, competitions, or significant achievements in relevant fields.
Scholarship Options:
- Up to 5 Full-Tuition Scholarships – CHF 30,000 per year for candidates demonstrating exceptional academic achievement and high potential.
- Several Partial-Tuition Scholarships – Up to CHF 20,000 per year.
Available for MSc CSSEL and MSc QSECs programs. Candidates with diverse STEM backgrounds must demonstrate sufficient preparation for direct MSc admission or successfully complete the Pre-Master program.

- Proof of awards, competitions, or significant achievements in relevant fields.
- Proof of sufficient funds to sustain in Switzerland (minimum 22,000 CHF per year)
Scholarship Options:
- Full-Tuition or Partial Scholarships – awarded on a highly competitive basis to the most exceptional candidates, at the discretion of the selection committee after the admissions interview.
These scholarships are applicable to the MSc CSSEL and MSc QSECs programs.
The Quantum Leap Scholarship is designed for exceptional students with a strong background in physics or mathematics, a passion for coding, and a demonstrated commitment to quantum technologies through research, studies, or projects.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Direct admission to the MSc in Quantum Software Engineering and Computer Science (QSECS) (or completion of Pre-Master program Block B in Spring 2025, if required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM-related discipline.
- Strong programming/coding skills.
- Outstanding academic record in quantitative subjects.
- Proof of awards, competitions, or research experience in quantum computing or related fields.
Scholarship Options:
- Full-Tuition Scholarships – Five awards covering CHF 30,000 per year, granted to the most outstanding QSECS applicants.
- Partial-Tuition Scholarships – Up to CHF 20,000 per year in tuition reductions, awarded competitively to QSECS applicants who meet the high standards of the scholarship committee.
These scholarships are exclusive to the MSc QSECS program and aim to support the next generation of innovators in quantum technologies.
- Applicants may be considered for one or more scholarships, but awards cannot be combined.
- Students must apply under one specific scholarship category, based on their strongest eligibility criteria.
- The final decision on scholarship allocation will be made by the scholarship committee based on academic excellence, relevant achievements, and available funding.

While the scholarship committee reserves the option to offer a combination of a tuition waiver and a living stipend, this is subject to funding availability following the cycle of rolling award offers during the Spring 2025 semester.
In general, while scholarship support is available, candidates must generally be able to demonstrate to the Swiss authorities their ability to cover living costs in Switzerland.
